Youth Group and Confirmation Night

When:  Wednesday Nights from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Who:  All Middle School and senior high school Students  (Grades 6th through 12th) 

Confirmation Students:  Grades 8th and 9th

Where:  Trinity Lutheran Church Downtown Worship Site, located in the Gym and surrounding classrooms

Mission Trips

Juarez Mexico:  August 1st through the 9th 

This trip is for Senior High Students (those going into their 9th grade year in 2009).  Juarez is a border town across from El Paso, Texas.  On this trip students will get to experience another culture while helping those in need!

Quad Cities:  July 5th through the 11th

This trip is for both Middle School and Senior High Students and is located near Davenport, Iowa.  On this trip students will have an opportunity to help those in a community setting which they can relate to, while seeing the needs that may be existing in their own backyard!!!

Winter Retreats

Snowboard/Ski/Tubing Retreats combined with the Spiritual Leadership Class Retreats!!!  January 23rd to the 25th and March 13th to the 15th  Look for Details!

Spiritual Leadership Classes

The Spiritual Leadership Classes will begin and end with the Winter Retreats, and meet every Saturday morning from 9:30am to 11:30am!  Spiritual leadership classes will be designed to help students grow spiritually as leaders in their circles of friends.  These classes will touch on several topics from sharing the love of Christ with friends to personally seeking god's will in every decision students make, as well as coming up with a personal life ministry plan.  Students will have an opportunity to grow deeper spiritually, build strong lasting Christian friendships, and become spiritual leaders in their circles or friends through this class.  Details will be coming soon.

Youth Ministry Service Teams:

We have serveral youth Ministry Leadership Teams ranging from Youth worhsip team, Skit Team, Audio Visual Team, Youth Leadership Team, Event Planning Team, hospitality and welcoming team, fundraising team, nursery/childcare & Extreme Kids Team, and Advertising/PR/Website Team!

We need both Adult and Youth Volunteers to assist this!  If You are Interested Please Let us Know! We will be having a meeting on Sunday, January 18th at 12:00pm at the downtown worship sight in the conference room!  Please come and we will explain these teams in more detail!
